David M Perry, MD

During regular business hours (Sun 3pm-1am, Mon-Wed 9am-1am):

  • Our phone is answered by the doctor, not a receptionist.  In the event that the doctor is with another patient, you will be able to leave a voice message, and the doctor will return all calls within twenty minutes.
  • The doctor will ask you your name, birthdate, and a few questions about your illness or injury.  If the doctor feels that your problem can be treated at your home or workplace, he will arrange to see you there.  Generally, patients will be seen within 1 hour for lacerations and acute injuries, and within 2 hours for illness.  All patients will be seen the same day that they call.
  • If the doctor feels that your problem would be better treated at the hospital Emergency Department, he will make that recommendation.
  • The doctor will give you an expected time of arrival.
  • The doctor will arrive in a silver Honda Pilot that has East Penn House Call markings on the windows.  If this is not the case, do not let this person into your home!
  • The doctor will perform an examination, any needed testing, and recommend and administer treatment.
  • Payment is expected at the time of service, except for Medicare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield participants.  We prefer debit or credit card payment.  For patients participating in other insurance plans, our doctor can provide a completed insurance form for you to submit to your insurer.

IF YOU ARE HAVING SEVERE DIFFICULTY BREATHING, OR ARE CONCERNED THAT YOU MIGHT BE HAVING A HEART ATTACK, STROKE, OR OTHER LIFE-THREATENING ILLNESS, PLEASE CALL 911 AND GO TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.
